Q. My steps aren’t being counted correctly(iOS)
If your steps aren’t being counted in Health, visit this Apple Support article for further assistance.
If your steps are counted in Health but not reflected in Pikmin Bloom, please refer to this help center article check the step settings. While experiencing delays, please note that players can expect a delay of up to several hours for the Pikmin Bloom app to sync with Apple Health and accurately track your activity.
If you are using an Apple Watch, issues such as the Apple Watch itself not measuring steps or not syncing with the Health app are outside the scope of our support. Please contact the manufacturer.
Q. (Android) My steps aren't being counted correctly.
Currently, there are two step tracking methods in the game: [Track with Google Fit] and [Track with your phone].
Please note that Google Account under 13 years old (or under the age requirements on Google Accounts in your country) cannot download or log in to Google Fit. Please select the [Track with your phone] to track your steps.
If your steps are not being counted correctly with Google Fit, please refer to this article and check your Google Fit app settings and Pikmin Bloom app settings. Additionally, it may take up to several hours for Pikmin Bloom to sync with Google Fit and accurately track your activity. If the issue does not improve after trying all troubleshooting steps, please consider switching to [Track with your phone].
*To enable [Track with your phone], navigate to Settings > Accessibility & Language > Step Count in the game’s menu.
*Please note that switching to [Track with your phone] will disable the connection to your smartwatch or other fitness tackers through the Google Fit app. As a result, we cannot provide support for step counting on fitness tackers.
Q: Why is my flower planting count inaccurate?
The number of flowers planted is affected by factors such as walking speed, movement range, and the number of Pikmin in your squad. If the actual number of flowers planted is lower than the predicted count, possible reasons include:
- (iOS) You turned off Settings > Pikmin Bloom > Location > Precise Location.
- You sent Pikmin on Expeditions or to Mushroom Challenges during flower planting, which reduced the number of Pikmin in your squad.
- You stopped walking, moved too fast or too slow, or walked in circles within the same area. Furthermore, even if you are moving forward, smartphone GPS signals may experience interference, causing the system to determine that you have stopped.
- You are walking within a designated "Private Zone." Please refer to this support article for more information on Private Zones.
- The area where you are planting is restricted for safety or other concerns (e.g., bodies of water). Even if you have not entered such an area, GPS signal drift may cause the system to determine that you have entered a restricted zone.
Q. Destroyed mushroom battles don't count towards my Event Challenge mission progress.
For Event Challenges, only mushrooms that are destroyed after the relevant stage has begun will be counted. Please note that the actual time a mushroom is destroyed is different from the time the user checks the results on the "Expedition" screen or receives the rewards on the "Pikmin Garden" screen. If a mushroom was already destroyed before the relevant stage of the Event Challenge started, it will not be reflected in your event progress, even if you check the results or receive the rewards afterwards.
Q: (iOS) Why is the amount charged to my credit card higher than the price of the item I purchased?
Apple often consolidates multiple purchases made within a certain period (typically 24 to 72 hours) into a single charge. For example, if you purchase petals for $30 in the afternoon and a bundle for $150 in the evening, Apple may process a single total charge of $180 the following day.
When Apple consolidates multiple purchases, a single comprehensive electronic invoice (receipt) containing all items within 1 to 3 days shall be sent to you after your purchase. If you wish to verify the purcahse details, you can check your history using the following steps: Open Settings > Tap [Your Name] at the top > Media & Purchases > View Account > Scroll down to find Purchase History.
Q: My Pikmin suddenly disappeared.
If you accidentally release a Pikmin back or recycle a Seedling, unfortunately, there is no function to undo it in the game. Once a Pikmin is released, it cannot be recovered. To avoid accidentally releasing important Decor Pikmin, please use the "Favorite" feature; Pikmin marked as favorites cannot be easily released.
Q: Why didn’t my free Mushroom Ticket/Detector usage reset after midnight?
Failure to reset free Mushroom Tickets or Detector uses may be due to the following:
- You have recently traveled internationally across different time zones.
- You manually modified the time zone settings on your smartphone.
- You used GPS modification software (spoofing) to change your local time zone.
If the system fails to refresh the free usage count due to the player's time zone settings, we will be unable to provide any compensation. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Q: I frequently experience crashes, map loading issues, or connection problems while playing.
