Gift bundles are special bundle packs that can be given as gifts to friends. Please see this support article for instructions on how to add friends.

Note:

  • Gift bundles are only for gift to friends. You cannot use the items yourself.
  • If you do not have any friends, you cannot purchase a gift bundle.
  • If you wish to purchase a gift bundle using a child account, you must have permission to use the "Friends" feature. For more information, please see this support article.
  • Once you have sent a gift to a friend, you cannot undo it. If you delete a friend after you have sent the gift, it will not be retracted.
  • Gifts are delivered to friends as soon as they are sent.
  • No expiration is set for receiving a gift.
  • The Pikmin used to deliver a gift to a friend will always return after three days, even if the friend has not yet received the gift (the gift will remain there).

How to send gift bundles

  1. Purchase a [Gift Bundle] that you want to give to a friend in the shop.
  2. On the home screen, scroll down and tap [Friends]. It’s located under [Profile].
  3. Tap [Send gift] under the friend to whom you want to send a gift. You can check the inventory of the gifts you have here.
  4. Tap the gift you wish to send and tap [Select] > [Send]. Tap [Switch Pikmin] if you want to change the Pikmin for delivery.
In addition to the above, gifts can also be sent from the pop-up after purchase or from the Mii icon in the Weekly Challenge.

How to receive gift bundles

You will be notified when a gift is sent to you, and a Pikmin carrying the gift will appear in the garden view. Tap this Pikmin to receive the gift. When you receive the gift, the sender will also receive a notification.
If multiple gifts are delivered, the gifts can be received in the garden view in the order of delivery.

How to change gift receipt preferences

If you do not want to receive gifts from your friends, you can change your preferences. Please note that it may take some time for the settings to take effect.
  1. Tap [Profile].
  2. At the top right, tap Gear Icon
  3. Tap [Privacy] > [Gifts].
  4. If you do not wish to receive gifts in the future, please uncheck the [Receive gifts from friends] checkbox. Your friends will no longer be able to send gifts to you.
  5. If you would like to receive gifts, check the [Receive gifts from friends] checkbox.

Can I receive items in a gift bundle that would exceed my storage size?

Yes, you can receive them even if they exceed the storage size.

Are there any restrictions on giving gifts?

Once you have sent a gift to a friend, you cannot send a new gift until that friend receives it. There is no limit to the number of gifts that can be given per day.

Why don't I see the "Send gift" button under a friend in my Friends list?

This is because the friend has opted out of receiving gifts. Gifts cannot be given to that Friend.

Why did I receive a gift from a friend after I deleted them?

This is because it may take several hours for the friends list to be up-to-date. We appreciate your patience.
