For users who have enjoyed the free update of the Pikmin™ 4 game on the Nintendo Switch™ system / Nintendo Switch 2, you will be able to go on walks in Pikmin Bloom with the Decor Pikmin you discovered during your adventure of Pikmin 4. This help center article explains how to send the seedlings for Decor Pikmin you met in Pikmin 4 to the Pikmin Bloom smartphone app. For an overview of the campaign, please see [this page].
How to send seedlings for Decor Pikmin found in Pikmin 4 to Pikmin Bloom
1. In Pikmin 4, take a photo of a Decor Pikmin you encounter with the Field Camera to register it into your Decopedia (You will be able to register them in the Decopedia starting the day after you rescue the Ranger).
2. After finishing a day of exploration in Pikmin 4, a message will appear to send information to Pikmin Bloom. Please confirm the details and select [Send].
3. Launch Pikmin Bloom. Users will receive a Gold Seedling that will grow into the same Decor Pikmin you met in Pikmin 4.
4. Set the Gold Seedling in a planter and walk to grow it. Pluck the grown seedling, the Decor Pikmin can join you for the walk.
Note
- If users select [Send] in the setting of [Connect to Pikmin Bloom] in Pikmin 4, the information of the Decor Pikmin you found will be sent automatically to Pikmin Bloom at the end of each day's exploration.
- You can change this setting at any time in Pikmin 4 from the Options (- Button) > Settings > [Connect to Pikmin Bloom]. If your Nintendo Switch/Nintendo Switch 2 system is not connected to the internet when a day's exploration ends, the Decor Pikmin information will not be sent (there would be no notification of failed connection). To resend the information, users need to either finish another day's exploration while connected to the internet or follow the instructions suggested in [How to Resend Decor Pikmin Information] below.
- If the Nintendo Account you are playing Pikmin 4 with is not linked to Pikmin Bloom, even if the setting of [Connect to Pikmin Bloom] is set to Send, the Decor Pikmin information will not be sent to Pikmin Bloom (there would be no notification of failed connection). After linking your Nintendo Account to Pikmin Bloom, you can receive seedlings for all Decor Pikmin you have discovered by following the instructions suggested in [How to Resend Decor Pikmin Information] below.
Notes Regarding Nintendo Account Eligibility and Specific Countries/Regions and Ages
Nintendo Account users in the following countries/regions and of the following ages are not eligible for this campaign:
● Under 18: South Korea
Nintendo Account users in the following countries/regions and of the following ages require parental permission to send Decor Pikmin information. Please obtain parental permission according to the procedure described later.
● Under 16: Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Canada (Quebec)
Please be aware that if your Nintendo Account is not eligible for this campaign or with no parental permission when necessary, seedlings will not be delivered to Pikmin Bloom even if you successfully send the Decor Pikmin information in Pikmin 4.
In countries/regions where parental permission is required, the parent account holder can grant the permission to send Decor Pikmin information from a child Nintendo Account following the steps below:
1. Access the Nintendo Account login page and log in with the parent's or guardian's account.
2. Click [Family Group] from the menu, then select the child account you wish to manage from the list of members.
3. Click [Linked apps and services].
4. Towards the bottom of the screen, click [Edit] next to [Services authorized to receive this account's information].
5. Under [Settings for individual third party services], select Pikmin Bloom, and then select [Approval for the use of service features].
6. A settings screen for permitted features in Pikmin Bloom will appear. You can press the [View/Edit] button to confirm the details and descriptions of the features to be permitted. Please permit [[Only in the specific countries/regions] Sending Decor Pikmin information from Pikmin 4 to Pikmin Bloom] by checking the box.
7. Review the permitted contents, click [I Agree] and complete the process.
8. If you encountered the Decor Pikmin in Pikmin 4 before granting permission, please resend the information by following the instructions in [How to Resend Deco Pikmin Information] below.
I could not receive seedlings for Pikmin 4 Decor Pikmin in Pikmin Bloom
The following are possible reasons:
● The Nintendo Account you are playing Pikmin 4 with is different from the Nintendo Account linked to Pikmin Bloom.
→ To confirm the linked account, please refer to [How to Confirm Your Linked Nintendo Account] below. If the Nintendo Accounts are different, please follow the instructions suggested in [How to Change the Nintendo Account linked to Pikmin Bloom] below.
● You have not finished the exploration of the day you found the Decor Pikmin in Pikmin 4.
→ Please check Pikmin Bloom again after finishing the day's exploration.
● The setting of [Connect to Pikmin Bloom] in Pikmin 4 is set to [Don't Send].
→ Please go to [Options (- Button)] > [Settings] > [Connect to Pikmin Bloom] and change the setting to [Send], then check again.
● You have already received the seedling for the Decor Pikmin you met in Pikmin 4 in Pikmin Bloom.
→ You can only receive one Gold Seedling per Decor Pikmin. You cannot receive two seedlings of the same type of Decor Pikmin.
● The data transmission failed due to an unstable internet connection on your Nintendo Switch/Nintendo Switch 2 when you finished the day's exploration in Pikmin 4.
→ Please finish another day's exploration while connected to the internet or follow the instructions suggested in [How to Resend Decor Pikmin Information] below.
How to Resend Decor Pikmin
By following the steps below, you can resend all the Decor Pikmin you have discovered in Pikmin 4 to Pikmin Bloom linked with the Nintendo Account.
1. Press the - button on your Nintendo Switch/Nintendo Switch 2 to open the Options in Pikmin 4.
2. Go to [Settings] → [Connect to Pikmin Bloom], change the settings to [Don't Send] once, and then change it back to [Send].
Note:
● Even if you resend the Decor Pikmin information, you cannot receive seedlings that have already been received in Pikmin Bloom again (a Pikmin Bloom account can only receive a Decor Pikmin seedling once per type).
● After successfully sending the Decor Pikmin information to a Pikmin Bloom account, if you link the Nintendo Account you are playing Pikmin 4 with to a different Pikmin Bloom account and resend the information, you will not be able to obtain the seedlings (a Nintendo Account can only send information for Decor Pikmin once per type, except in cases of connection failure or if the account was not previously linked to Pikmin Bloom).
How to Confirm Your Linked Nintendo Account
● To check the Nintendo Account you are playing Pikmin 4 with, please refer to [this page].
● You can confirm the Nintendo Account linked to Pikmin Bloom from the email address displayed under Nintendo in the Pikmin Bloom app under Settings > Account > Login Account or Linked Accounts.
How to Change the Nintendo Account linked to Pikmin Bloom
If the Nintendo Account you played Pikmin 4 with is different from the one linked to Pikmin Bloom, you will not be able to receive any seedlings in Pikmin Bloom even if you set [Connect to Pikmin Bloom] to Send in Pikmin 4. In that case, you can change the Nintendo Account linked to Pikmin Bloom by following the steps below.
1. If your Pikmin Bloom account is only linked to a Nintendo Account, please go to Settings > Account > Linked Accounts and link another third-party account (i.e. Google/Facebook/Apple (iOS users only)).
2. Log out of Pikmin Bloom once, then log back in using a login method other than Nintendo Account.
3. Go to Settings > Account > Linked Accounts, uncheck the box for the currently linked Nintendo Account, and tap the confirmation button to Unlink.
4. Check the Nintendo Account box again, scroll to the bottom of the Nintendo Account linking screen, tap Log in with the Nintendo Account you play Pikmin 4 with to re-link with Pikmin Bloom.
Note:
● A Pikmin Bloom account can only receive one Decor Pikmin seedling per type. After receiving a seedling on a Pikmin Bloom account while it is linked to Nintendo Account A, even if you change to a different Nintendo Account B and find another Decor Pikmin in Pikmin 4 in that account, you cannot re-obtain the same seedling on the Pikmin Bloom account.
● A Nintendo Account can only send Decor Pikmin information once per type, except in cases of connection failure or if the account was not previously linked to Pikmin Bloom. After the information has been successfully sent to Pikmin Bloom account A, even if you link the same Nintendo Account to a different Pikmin Bloom account B, you cannot receive the seedling on Pikmin Bloom account B (it is considered received once the data transmission is successful, regardless of whether you opened the Pikmin Bloom app and received the seedling).
● Please be aware that if you relink a Nintendo Account from Pikmin Bloom account A to Pikmin Bloom account B, the seedlings that have been previously sent to Pikmin Bloom account A will be considered as already received. Therefore, even if you follow the steps above to relink the Nintendo Account to Pikmin Bloom account B, you will not be able to receive the seedling. (You will be able to receive seedlings for new Decor Pikmin you encounter in Pikmin 4 after switching the account).

There are a total of 24 Decor Pikmin across the various areas which you can find in Pikmin 4. Please note they do not appear at the Rescue Command Post.
I accidentally released a Decor Pikmin I met in Pikmin 4. Is there a way to get it again?
After sending a Decor Pikmin found in Pikmin 4 to Pikmin Bloom, if you accidentally recycle the Gold Seedling or release the grown Pikmin, you cannot obtain the seedling for that Decor Pikmin again by any means (even if you reset your Pikmin 4 play record). Some Decor Pikmin can only be found in Pikmin 4, so we recommend registering them as favorites to avoid accidentally releasing them.
