  • At least 2 GB of RAM
  • At least 2 GB of free device storage
  • Access to Google Play services
  • GPS and Location Services
  • Gyroscope and compass sensors
  • Camera required for some features
  • Rooted devices are not supported

Device compatibility exceptions: A small number of devices that meet the above criteria were individually marked as incompatible due to performance issues discovered in testing.

Note about OS betas: Niantic apps may not function on devices running beta versions of iOS or Android.
