    • To be eligible to participate in this Promotion, you must be a legal resident of one of the Participating Countries, have reached at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction, have internet access and a valid email address at the time of entry into the Promotion and at the time you are awarded any Grand Prize (each an “Eligible Participant”).

    • Five Chicago Event Grand Prizes Available: A travel package for the winner and one guest to attend Pokémon GO Festival in Chicago, Illinois, U.S., currently scheduled for Friday, June 5, 2026 through Sunday, June 7, 2026. ARV:  Up to $5,000 (€4,240; DKK31,700; ₩7,247,000; ¥774,000; CAD$6,850; NT$157,700).

  6. What does each Grand Prize Include? 

    • Round trip economy class air transportation for winner and one  guest from a major commercial airport near winner’s residence to the applicable event city; up to four  consecutive nights of standard hotel accommodations (one room, double occupancy); two event admission tickets (one for the winner and one for the guest) valid for the applicable festival dates as determined by the Sponsor; and a meal and ground transportation per diem for both travelers for up to five days of travel, calculated at USD $250 total (or local equivalent) per day for the winner and the guest combined.

  7. Where and how can I submit an entry?

    • To be eligible, your social media account used to enter must be set to “public” (i.e., not a “Private Account”) at the time of entry and must remain public and viewable by Sponsor and Administrator through winner selection and verification at least until May 15, 2026. Entries from accounts that are private, restricted, or otherwise not visible to Sponsor at the time of review will be deemed ineligible and not received. You are solely responsible for adjusting your account settings and for confirming that your post/story is visible to Sponsor.

      • Depending on which Entry Platform you’re posting on, you must follow Pokémon GO and tag the Pokémon GO handle for your Entry post:

      • Include two hashtags in your post/tweet/quote retweet/reel.

        1. HASHTAG #1: All entries must include the hashtag: #GOMemories

        2. HASHTAG #2: All entries also must include a hashtag in one of the following languages matching the language you are using to create your story. Use of any other language will not be permitted for entry. The required hashtags must be clearly visible and not hidden among numerous other hashtags. If included in a list of hashtags, they must appear at the beginning of that list and must be directly visible without the need to click “more” or otherwise expand the post description.

For example: a favorite memory of playing Pokémon GO; the coolest place you’ve discovered while playing Pokémon GO; a photo of you at a Pokémon GO event or playing out in your community with friends; something inspired by your favorite Pokémon (outfit, cupcake, etc.); a Pokémon in your collection that’s meaningful to you; tell who your First Partner Pokémon is, etc. The social post you share will not be judged. On TikTok, the applicable post types are: Video Posts or Stitched Video Posts; on X, the applicable post types are tweets and Quote Retweets; on Instagram, the applicable post types are In-Feed Posts and Reels.      

      • Maintain your post live on your selected Entry Platform account at least until May 15, 2026.

      • Enter via Reddit  

        1. Reply to one of the official campaign posts on the subreddit r/TheSilphRoad to enter:  https://www.reddit.com/r/TheSilphRoad/

        2. Eligible Participant is not required to tag any handles.

        3. Answer the Sponsor’s question found in the official campaign post.

      • Your Entry (on an Entry Platform) must meet the Entry Content Restrictions set out in Rule 4 of the Official Rules to be eligible. 

       

  8. Can I enter without making a purchase?

    • There is no purchase or consideration required to enter and/or win a prize.

    • For Mexican Participants Only: Participation may or may not involve a past or future purchase.

  9. How many times can I enter? What are the submission requirements?

    • There is a limit of one entry on each available platform.

  10. Can I enter with my computer, or do I need a digital device?

    • You can use whatever method you normally use to visit the social media platforms. 

  11. What are my odds of winning a prize?

    • The odds of winning a Grand Prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received for each Prize Draw from all Participating Countries.

  12. When and how will winners be selected?

    • The Promotion Period includes three separate prize draws carried out on three different dates during the Promotion Period (each a “Prize Draw”) as follows: Entry for the Tokyo Event (May 29, 2026 to June 1, 2026) ends March 22, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. PDT (“Prize Draw #1”); Entry for the Chicago Event (June 5, 2026 to June 7, 2026) ends April 5, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. PDT (“Prize Draw #2”); and entry for the Copenhagen Event (June 12, 2026 to June 14, 2026) ends April 30, 2026, at 11:59:59 p.m. PDT (“Prize Draw #3”). Entry into each Prize Draw starts March 10, 2026, at 12:00:00 a.m. PDT.

  13. How many drawings will my entry be included in?

    • If you enter prior to 22 March 2026 you will be entered in Draw #1. If you are not selected as a winner in that draw, your entry will remain eligible in Prize Draw #2. If you are not selected as a winner in that draw, your entry will remain eligible in Prize Draw #3.

  14. When and how will potential winners be notified?

    • Direct Message Notification. Potential Prize Winners will first be contacted via direct message through the applicable Entry Platform they used to enter. Any such Potential Prize Winner will need to respond to direct message with the requested information in 24-48 hours (depending on the Entry Platform rules). If a Potential Prize Winner does not have their settings on “Public” and does not respond with their requested contact information in the time provided, that Potential Prize Winner will be disqualified and an alternate prize winner may be selected, in the sole discretion of Sponsor, time-permitting. If a Potential Prize Winner timely responds with their contact information, the verification process will continue. Entrants are encouraged to check, during the Promotion Period, any archived messages on their accounts on the applicable Entry Platform in the event that any message from the Administrator is diverted to the message “request” section of their account.

  15. Winner Notification/Documents a potential winner need to complete?

    • To the extent permitted by applicable law, Potential Prize Winners will then receive Grand Prize claim documents (Declaration of Eligibility, a Liability Release, travel release and, where lawful, a publicity release and any other documents required by the Sponsor (“Prize Claim Documents”) provided via DocuSign. Potential Prize Winners will also receive appropriate Forms.  All Prize Claim Documents must be executed and returned via DocuSign within five business days from the time they are received by the Potential Prize Winner, or the applicable prize may be forfeited. Prize Clam Documents will also include appropriate releases for the guest of the Potential Prize Winner. Potential Prize Winners may be required to furnish proof of identification acceptable to the Sponsor. Such proof may include that Potential Prize Winner provide proof of a valid passport and any visa or other paperwork required to travel to the winning destination. Only necessary passport details will be processed and any national identification numbers may be redacted where not legally required. The Grand Prizes will be awarded within 4-6 weeks after verification of the Potential Prize Winners’ eligibility and completion of the prize claim process.  

  16. How can I find out who won?

    • The list of Prize Winners in the Promotion will be made available upon request at [email protected] (until 30 June 2026) and where required by law. 

  17. Are there any conditions that I have to meet to participate and/or win a prize?

    • Residents of Canada, Denmark, and Mexico who are a potential winner of a prize must correctly answer a skill-testing question (“STQ”) without any electronic, mechanical or other assistance in order to receive a prize (refer to Rule 6 of the Official Rules).

    • Applies to Eligible Participants residing in Germany only: 

      • For Participants residing in Germany, the preceding provisions in this Rule 10 do not apply. Instead, the following applies: The Sponsor and the Promotion Entities shall be fully liable for intent and gross negligence as well as for damages caused by injury to life, body or health.

      • In an event of property and financial losses caused by slightly negligent behavior, the Sponsor and the Promotion Entities shall be liable only for breaches of a material contractual obligation (cardinal duty), and limited to the typical, foreseeable damages. A “cardinal duty” in the meaning of this provision is an obligation that need to be fulfilled to permit proper execution of these Official Rules and that may regularly be relied upon by the Eligible Participant. The limitation of liability shall apply mutatis mutandis to the benefit of the employees, agents and vicarious agents of the Sponsor and the Promotion Entities.

      • Any potential liability on the part of the Sponsor or the Promotion Entities for any guarantees and for claims based on the German Product Liability Act shall not be affected.

    • Applies to Eligible Participants residing in the UK only:

      • For Eligible Participants residing in UK, the preceding provisions in sub-sections (i) (ii) and (iii) of Rule 10 of the Official Rules does not apply. Instead,  the following applies: Promotion Entities will not be responsible for (i) any losses that were not caused by any breach of these Official Rules by the Promotion Entities; (ii) any business loss (including loss of profits, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, data, loss of goodwill, or wasted expenditure), or (iii) any indirect or consequential losses that were not foreseeable to both at the time of participation in this Promotion. Promotion Entities will also not be responsible for any delay or failure to comply with their obligations under these Official Rules if the delay or failure is attributable to circumstances beyond Promotion Entities’ reasonable control. This provision does not affect a Grand Prize Winner’s right to receive the relevant Grand Prize within a reasonable time. Nothing in these Official Rules excludes Promotion Entities’ responsibility to UK Eligible Participants for fraudulent representations made by Promotion Entities’ or for death or personal injury caused by Promotion Entities’ negligence or willful misconduct.

    • Applies to Eligible Participants residing in France only:

      • For Eligible Participants residing in France, the following provision applies instead of the provisions regarding the Sponsor’s limitation of liability set forth in Rule 10 above:  In accordance with article l221-15 of the French consumer code, the Sponsor may be relieved of all or part of its responsibility if it evidences that the breach or the improper performance of these Official Rules is related either to an entrant, or to the fact, unpredictable and insurmountable, of a third party to the Official Rules, or to a case of force majeure.

    • Applies to Eligible Participants residing in the Netherlands only:

      • Nothing in Rule 10 of the Official Rules shall exclude or limit the Sponsor’s or the Promotion Entities’ liability for damage resulting from intent (opzet) or gross negligence (grove schuld), or for damage resulting from injury to life, body or health.
