The Lucky Trinket is a one-time-use item that can be used to turn one friend from your Friend List into a Lucky Friend. When used, the Lucky Trinket will set the status of you and your chosen friend to Lucky, even if you aren’t Best Friends!

The Lucky Trinket will only stay in your Item Bag for a limited time, so don’t forget to use it! 

You must be at least Great Friends with the Trainer you wish to apply your Lucky Trinket to. You cannot use a Lucky Trinket with a Trainer you are currently Lucky Friends with. Using a Lucky Trinket on a friend does not change the distance at which you can complete a trade. 

If you do not want to allow other Trainers to use their Lucky Trinkets on you, you can disable this permission in the Friends section of your General Settings page.
