STEP 1: Restart the Pokémon GO app or your device.
If restarting the Pokémon GO app does not resolve the problem, please try restarting your device.
 
STEP 2: Clear the cache within the Pokémon GO app.
Settings > Advanced Settings > Clear Cache
(For Android only) Go to the settings of the Pokémon GO app and clear both the app cache and data.
Please note that clearing the cache will reset the adventure mode settings. We apologize for the inconvenience, but after clearing the cache, we kindly ask you to reconfigure the adventure mode settings at your convenience.
 
STEP 3: Uninstall and reinstall the Pokémon GO app.
