Unpairing the Pokémon GO Plus From Your Device
To use your Pokémon GO Plus with another device, you’ll need to unpair the Pokémon GO Plus.
- Press the Function button. The light will flash blue, indicating that the accessory is paired.
- Wait until the accessory has stopped blinking.
- Press and hold the function button for 5 seconds. The indicator light will turn solid blue.
- Release the function button.
- While the light is solid blue, press and hold the Function button for another 5 seconds. When the Pokémon GO Plus vibrates, it has been successfully unpaired from your device.
Pairing Your Device to the Pokémon GO Plus
If your phone is unable to connect to your Pokémon GO Plus, you may need to pair using your phone’s Bluetooth settings.
On iOS devices:
- Open the Settings app and touch Bluetooth.
- Touch the Bluetooth toggle to turn Bluetooth on.
- Press the function button on the Pokémon GO Plus to make the accessory discoverable.
- Touch “Pokémon GO Plus” from the My Devices or Other Devices list.
- Open the Pokémon GO app
- Touch Pokémon GO Plus
- Press the function button on the Pokémon GO Plus to make the accessory discoverable.
- Touch your Pokémon GO Plus under Available Devices list. The accessory will vibrate when connected.
On Android devices: (Instructions may differ depending on device)
- Open your device's Settings menu.
- Touch the Bluetooth toggle to turn Bluetooth on.
- Touch Search for devices or Refresh to scan for nearby devices.
- Touch the function button on the Pokémon GO Plus to make the accessory discoverable.
- Touch “Pokémon GO Plus” from the list of available devices.
- Open the Pokémon GO app
- Touch Pokémon GO Plus
- Press the function button on the Pokémon GO Plus to make the accessory discoverable.
- Touch your Pokémon GO Plus under Available Devices list. The accessory will vibrate when connected.
Pokémon GO Plus Loses Connection
Periodically, your Pokémon GO Plus may lose connection to your device. The indicator light on the Pokémon GO Plus will flash red and vibrate to indicate that the connection is lost.
- Verify that your phone or tablet can connect to the Internet and make sure that it is within 30 feet of your Pokémon GO Plus.
- The icon will illuminate and the Pokémon GO Plus will vibrate when connected.
If you do not see the Pokémon GO Plus icon in Map View, you may need to reconnect the accessory via the Settings menu (Main Menu > Settings > Pokémon GO Plus).
LED Does Not Light Up
- Check to make sure the battery is installed correctly.
- Try removing the battery for 30 seconds and then re-installing it.
- Try replacing the battery with a fresh one.
