I see the "Your account has been suspended/terminated" message
Yes, your account is banned if you see the “Your account has been suspended/terminated for violating the Terms of Service” message when logging in to Pokémon GO.
Our main priority with Pokémon GO is to provide a fair, fun, and safe experience for all players. With that goal in mind, we take action against players who violate the Pokémon GO Terms of Service and the Trainer Guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to:
- promoting or engaging in harassment against any individual or group,
- falsifying location,
- using emulators, modified or unofficial software,
- and/or accessing Pokémon GO clients or backends in an unauthorized manner including through the use of third party software or add-ons.
If you believe your account has been terminated in error incorrectly, you may appeal the termination.
I see another error message
If you are experiencing login issues or map loading errors but you do not see the see the “Your account has been suspended” message, it may just be a temporary server issue. Please try to log in again or contact us and select "Sign-In Issue" from the dropdown menu.
