Changes in the MH Now Summer Hunt 2026 event

■ Velkhana Appearance

When the event begins, Velkhana will also make its appearance. Regardless of whether you have purchased an event ticket, only Velkhana will appear in Elder Dragon Interceptions, and the appearance rate of Elder Dragon Interceptions will be increased. 

■ Cooldown of Hunt-a-thons and Elder Dragon Interceptions

In this event, the “no cooldown for Hunt-a-thons and Elder Dragon Interceptions” effect will not be implemented. Instead, the event is designed so that players can encounter Velkhana more easily even without purchasing an event ticket. Additionally, event tickets come with a variety of benefits, including increased rewards from Elder Dragon Interceptions and other special bonuses.

■ Special Summer Hunt Ticket

The Special Summer Hunt Ticket is an event ticket that grants its effects for one day per ticket. Tickets are available for seven days of the event, and you can purchase tickets for multiple dates.

Event Ticket Sales Start: 2026/7/8 (Wed), 09:00 (local time)
Event Ticket Sales End: 2026/7/26 (Sun), 21:59 (local time)

Event Ticket Effects:

  • The respawn time for large monsters will be reduced to 30 minutes.

  • Your access range will be increased to 1.5x the normal distance at all times.

  • The number of materials obtained from small monsters and gathering points will be doubled.

  • The number of materials obtained in reward slots 1–4 of Elder Dragon Interceptions will be increased to 2.

  • Upon purchase,  you will receive a Limited Ultra Hunting Ticket.

The number of Limited Ultra Hunting Tickets you receive depends on where the event ticket is purchased:

  • In-game Shop: 3 tickets per event ticket

  • Web Store: 5 tickets per event ticket
    ※This includes the standard 3 bonus tickets plus an additional 2 Web Store purchase bonus tickets.

Important Notes 

  • Wander Powder, Wander Droplet and Wander Orb cannot be used together with event effect during the event period. Increased access range can’t be overlapped, even if one of them was in use before the start of the event. The remaining time doesn’t transfer after the event’s end either.

  • If the event ticket is purchased before the event, the event will begin automatically at 09:00 of the local time. If you have purchased the ticket after the event started but it’s not reflected on your account, please try to restart the app. 

 

■ Summer Hunt 2026 Pass

During the event period, the Summer Hunt 2026 Pass will be available. Progress through the pass by completing various quests, including quests that require you to slay or repel Velkhana.

With the Free Plan, you can earn rewards such as Velkhana Rarity 5 materials and Limited Ultra Hunting Tickets. With the Premium Plan, you can earn additional rewards, including Velkhana Rarity 6 materials.

If you purchase the Premium Plan through the Web Store, you will receive 2 Limited Ultra Hunting Tickets as a bonus.

Q. Will Velkhana only appear if I purchase an event ticket?

A. No. Even hunters who have not purchased an event ticket can participate in Elder Dragon Interceptions featuring Velkhana during the event period.

 

Q. If I purchase an event ticket, will the cooldown for Hunt-a-thons and Elder Dragon Interceptions be removed?

A. No. This event does not include the “no cooldown for Hunt-a-thons and Elder Dragon Interceptions” bonus.

 

Q. Can I use Friend Link?

A. Yes. Friend Link can be used as usual. During the event period, you can continue to invite friends to activities such as Elder Dragon Interceptions.


Q. Are there paid ticket limited quests or layered armor like in 2025?

A. No. This event does not include paid ticket limited quests or layered armor as purchase bonuses. Hunter Medals and Guild Card backgrounds can be obtained as rewards from event quests instead.

 

Q. Until when can the Limited Ultra Hunting Tickets be used?
A. It can be used until 2026/7/27 (Mon), 23:59 (local time). Regardless of how it is obtained, all limited-time Hunt-a-thon Tickets from this event share the same expiration date.

  • If you move to a different timezone during the event period, the new timezone will apply.
