Using a Special Carving Knife or Gems, you can double the number of materials rewarded from a hunt. This is especially recommended when rare materials or materials you've been searching for are dropped.

*Rewards that are doubled are materials and Part Break Rewards. 

*Zenny and HRP(Hunter Rank Point) obtained by slaying Large monsters are not subject to the Double Rewards.
