Q. Are the locations of gathering point (L) and where large monsters appear fixed?
A. No, it is not. It will change sometimes.

If Monsters and Gathering points are not appearing on the map, it could be due to the following reasons:

  • You are in a country where the service is not available
  • If you are moving too fast - if you are moving by means other than walking, such as using a vehicle like a car or train, monsters and gathering points will not appear.
  • Issues with GPS settings: Please check the steps below to configure GPS settings.

For safety and other considerations, there are areas such as roads and waterways where Monsters do not appear. Monsters can appear by changing the location.

For iOS

Check GPS Settings:

  1. Go to your iPhone's Settings.

  2. Scroll down and tap on Privacy & Security.

  3. Select Location Services.

  4. Look for Monster Hunter NOW in the list of apps and tap on it.

Adjust Location Sharing Settings:

Please make sure that the location setting for Monster Hunter NOW is configured to either "Always" or "While Using the App." This setting is essential for the proper functioning of our game.
Furthermore, please ensure that "Precise Location" is tuned on.  This adjustment is crucial for optimal performance.
