You can request deletion of your game account to completely and permanently remove all of its game data. Deletion requests can be initiated through the app or by submitting a request form. Be mindful that all verified deletion requests may take several weeks to process and are irreversible once completed.
How to start the deletion process from the app
Tap "Hunter Icon."
Tap "Settings."
Tap "Delete Account" and follow the on-screen instructions.
An email for deletion confirmation will be sent to your logged-in email address. Reply to that email with the provided code.
Note: Once you reply to the deletion confirmation email with the code, the deletion request cannot be canceled. Please proceed with caution.
How to request deletion by submitting a request form
If you are unable to request deletion from within the app, please request from this form and select "Delete My Account” from the 'Issue Category' dropdown.
Be sure to provide your correct "Niantic ID" and have access to the email associated with the account. By replying with the code provided in the email sent to your associated email, you can confirm the deletion request.
Your Niantic ID is displayed below your Hunter Name when you tap "Profile" from the Main Menu. We are unable to process requests without verifying this information.
