Information shared in the Exploration Base
If you submit at least one exploration report, the following information will be shared with hunters at the same Exploration Base.

Additionally, if you submit at least one exploration report, the following information will also be shared with hunters at the same Exploration Base. However, this information will no longer be shared if you turn off the “Allow Guild Card Display at Exploration Base” setting in the Exploration Base section of the settings screen.

Note: that it may take some time for changes in your armor, weapons, or avatar, as well as increases in Hunter Rank, to be reflected in your friends' list.
If a friend who is already your friend in another Niantic app starts playing Monster Hunter Now, the date you or your friend started to play Monster Hunter Now will be displayed as the date you became friends.
When joining a group hunt, if one of the participants is your friend, an icon indicating being a friend will appear in the lobby.
Information shared when using Friend Link
When responding to invitations from friends or sending invitations through the Friend Link feature to participate in remote hunting, the following information will be shared with the other hunters you are hunting with:
Information related to the invites
Inviter Name: The hunter name of the friend who sent the invitation will be displayed in notifications and in the invitation list. If Streamer Mode is turned on, it will appear as “Friend” in notifications and as “Hunter” in the invitation list.
Number of Participants: The invitation list will display the number of hunters currently participating in the lobby, which can help you decide whether to join.
Information during the hunt (same as in a regular group hunt)

Hunter Name: Displayed on the lobby screen and the results screen. If Streamer Mode is turned on, it will appear as “Hunter.”

Information shared with friends
The number of times you have hunted remotely with a friend will be counted under Times Hunted Together in your friend list.
Hunts conducted via the Friend Link feature count toward the unlock conditions for both the new Friend Link Medal which can be registered to your Guild Card, and the existing Group Hunt Medal.
Additional Notes Regarding Online Status
Your online status is used for selecting invitees in Friend Link and for displaying the number of online friends.
Your individual online status will not be visible to hunters who are not your friends.
Information you share with the Community Forum
If you post in the Monster Hunter Now community forum, your posts and Niantic ID will be visible to others.
Information you share with when joining the Friend quest
When you join a friend quest in Monster Hunter Now, your account information becomes visible to the players who are joining the same Friend Quest even if you are not already friends with the other players.
