While you have a Monster Hunter Now account, some account information will be shared publicly.
Information you share with other Hunters
When you encounter a large monster and tap [Hunt with nearby hunters], and then tap [Begin] on the next screen.
The following information will be shared with nearby hunters.

When you tap [Join hunt!] pop-up, and then tap [join] on the next screen
In the Group Hunt Lobby, the following information will be shared with other hunters in the group.

Also, the other hunters can send you a friend request. In the case, you become friends with other players, please refer to the “Information you share with your friends” section to see which information is shared with them.
*"Join Hunt!" Notifications cannot be disabled at this time.

When you become friends with other hunters in Monster Hunter Now, your account information becomes visible to each other through the friend list.

※Please note that it may take some time for changes in your armor, weapons, or avatar, as well as increases in Hunter Rank, to be reflected in your friends' list.
※If a friend who is already your friend in another Niantic app starts playing Monster Hunter Now, the date you or your friend started to play Monster Hunter Now will be displayed as the date you became friends.
Information you share with the Community Forum
If you post in the Monster Hunter Now community forum, your posts and Niantic ID will be visible to others.
Information you share with when joining the Friend quest
When you join a friend quest in Monster Hunter Now, your account information becomes visible to the players who are joining the same Friend Quest even if you are not already friends with the other players.
