If you choose, Campfire will notify you via push notification when you receive a Community Invitation, an event is created within one of your Communities, or an event is about to start. You will also receive in-app notifications for flare activity, post interactions, when you receive friend or DM requests, or are @mentioned in text channels, as well as other Campfire specific interactions. 

To change your notification settings:

• Go to your profile

• Tap on the gear icon for settings

• Go into notifications, and toggle on/off the notification you wish to adjust

Keep in mind that these notification settings are different from your notification settings within Niantic games.

Note: You can also select whether or not you want to receive notifications in the Niantic game where you were last active on Campfire, or notifications for only one Niantic game.
