“Rare Decor Pikmin” are Pikmin wearing “Rare” Decor that can be collected by all types of regular Decor in the corresponding category.

The “Rare Decor Indicator” will not be displayed for categories for which there is no Rare Decor available.
How to meet Rare Decor Pikmin
1.Rare Decor Indicator display
The “Rare Decor Indicator” will be displayed when all regular Decor of the corresponding categories are found. Your “Rare Decor Level”, as well as the necessary steps to advance to the next level displayed under the corresponding category in your Decor Pikmin Collection.
*The “Rare Decor Level” will not be displayed if there are Decor Pikmin that have not yet been found in the category.
2.Earn Rare Decor Points to level up
“Rare Decor Points” can be obtained in the following ways.
- Pluck out seedlings in the category.
- Meet Decor Pikmin of the relevant category either from a large seedling or by raising their friendship level.
- Release Pikmin in that category.
*The amount of points awarded for each action differs.
*The higher the “Rare Decor Level”, the higher the amount of points required to go to the next level.
3.When the “Rare Decor Indicator” becomes full
When the “Rare Decor Indicator” becomes full, your “Rare Decor Level” will increase. Every time the “Rare Decor Level” goes up one level, you will receive an expedition for a “Rare Decor Gift”.
Only regular Decor Pikmin of the same category can be sent for the expedition.
When the Decor Pikmin return from the expedition, they will wear a new “Rare Decor" and become a “Rare Decor Pikmin”. When you send a Pikmin to the expedition, select the Decor Pikmin that you want to wear the “Rare Decor”.
The “Rare Decor Level” can continue to be raised. Raise the “Rare Decor Level” of each category as much as possible to meet various “Rare Decor Pikmin”.

Are Rare Decor Pikmin no longer available from seedlings in the “Restaurant” category?
Seedlings in the “Restaurant” category found after September 26, 2024 will no longer have a low probability of becoming “Rare Decor Pikmin”. Seedlings in the “Restaurant” category obtained before September 26, 2024 may continue to become “Rare Decor Pikmin”.
