Once your application and location have been approved, your in-game location will go live. In the first month, you will only be charged for the number of days that your in-game location is live in the game. For example, if you opt for a standard subscription ($30 a month), and your in-game location goes live on April 11, you would be charged for 20 days for the month of April.
