A promotion campaign allows businesses to feature special promotions, new products, or seasonal content in addition to the main in-game location description and image–think of it as an extra virtual billboard space on your in-game location! Depending on the plan tier, businesses can change their promo campaign up to once or twice within a calendar month.
1. Setting up a promo campaign
Setting up a promo campaign is simple. Login to your business profile and click “Start a Promotion” on the homescreen. You can also click the blue “Add” button in the “Promotions” Section.
2. Schedule a promotion
Click “Start a Promotion” bar and the “Schedule Promotion” tab will appear. Here you can add the promotional message, photo, URL, type, and dates.
3. Create a promotion message
This message will be shown to players and can be used to showcase a new product offering, a limited time deal or more information about your business.
4. Upload a promotional photo
Choose an accompanying image for your promotional message. This will appear as the background of the campaign.
5. Add a Call to Action Button URL
Encourage users to visit your website in order to learn more about your promotion or business.
6. Select promotion campaign type
Use the drop down menu to select the type of promotional campaign - Informational or Coupon/Offer
7. Select start and end dates
Click on the start and end date boxes to select the duration of your promotional campaign.
8. Submit for review
Check over all the promotional campaign details to ensure they are correct and click the “Submit for Review” bar.
