Q. (iOS) On the app's home screen, the message "Unable to retrieve recent step counts. Has permission been granted" is displayed.

Please refer to the following article to check if the "Steps" setting is enabled in the "Health Care" app settings.

If you have lost the "Steps" setting, please try uninstall and reinstall the app.


Q. I am a user over 13 years old, but when I try to log in with my Nintendo Account, I get the message "You cannot login with a kids account.”

If the user is 13 years old or older, you will be able to change your child account to a non-child account. For further instructions, please visit the Nintendo Account web page (https://accounts.nintendo.com/), and click on Help located at the bottom of the page.


Q. I am an adult user, but when I try to log in with my Nintendo Account, I get the message "You cannot login with a non-kids account.”

If you entered your date of birth when you first started the app and it was determined that you were a child, you will not be able to log in with your adult Nintendo Account. If your date of birth was entered incorrectly, you can re-enter it by deleting the app and installing it again.


Q.  I have an account playing other Niantic apps (such as Ingress, Pokémon GO), can I link it to my Nintendo account?

If you already have an account of another Niantic app, we suggest signing up for Pikmin Bloom with a login method you already use. You’ll be able to link a Nintendo Account later.  To link a Nintendo account, after signing up with your existing account, select the gear icon in the upper right corner of your profile screen > Linked Accounts > Nintendo.

When starting Pikmin Bloom with a Nintendo Account, you won’t be able to link it with any login methods used for other Niantic games.


Q. When I added/removed a friend from my Pikmin Bloom friends list, they were also added/removed from my friends list in other games.

Changes to your Friendship list will be carried over across other Niantic apps. Removing a friend in Pikmin Bloom could also remove them from Pokémon GO and Ingress.


Q. The users who have become my friends do not appear in my friends list.

It may take a few hours for your friends list to become up-to-date. Please wait for a while until it is updated.
 

Q. (Android) I cannot download or update Pikmin Bloom app from Google Play Store

We have confirmed that the Pikmin Bloom app cannot be downloaded or updated successfully if there are other Niantic apps (Pokémon GO, Monster Hunter Now, etc) on the same device that were downloaded from and installed using a method other than downloading from Google Play Store.

 

Using modified or unofficial software is prohibited by the Niantic Terms of Service and Niantic Player Guidelines and violations will result in a warning, suspension of your account, a diminished gameplay experience, or permanent suspension of your account without warning.


If you are not aware of any such violations, please provide us with your information using the webform.

Known Issues

The description of “3rd Anniversary Logo T-shirt” is incorrect

Description:
The description displayed after purchasing the “3rd Anniversary logo T-shirt” included in the “Pikmin Bloom 3rd Anniversary Pack” available at the Web Store contains incorrect information.

(Incorrect description)
A T-shirt that proves you’re an expert who completed the difficult mission in the 3rd anniversary event.

(Correct description)
A premium T-shirt with the 3rd anniversary logo.

The Mii Costume that can be obtained by extra hard missions during the Community Week is different from the “3rd Anniversary Logo T-Shirt”. Please see the event details to be announced at a later date. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Some background images for Mushrooms and Big Flowers are not displayed

Description: When the Mushrooms and Big flowers were repositioned on 24th September 2024, some of these and postcards obtained from them were found to be missing their background images.
This is a phenomenon that occurs when Mushrooms, Big flowers are newly placed in areas where there is no background image.
We will take steps to prevent this happening again in the future, such as by setting the points where they were originally located to images other than those that are missing.

Status: To be fixed in future relocation

The game crashes when you tap the expedition tab on the home screen

Description: The game crashes when you tap the expedition tab at the top of the map on the home screen. We are currently investigating how to fix this problem. It may be caused by a lack of memory, so if possible, temporarily stop any apps that are running in the background to see if that helps.

Status: Under investigation

[Update scheduled] Appearance of the Big Flower Bougainvillea

Description: We are planning to update the appearance of the Big Flower Bougainvillea to have its small flower in the center to be shown as bloomed.

Status: Update scheduled in the future release.

(Android) Steps are not counted for child accounts

Description: An issue was reported that the steps may not be counted or added when logged in with a child account on an Android device.
Status: Investigating.

(Galaxy S22 Series) Visual glitch of Mii outfits

Description: On Galaxy S22 series, Mii's outfit is displayed in bright pink.

Resolved Issues

Frequent network errors in the app

Description:
We are currently investigating an issue with frequent network errors in the app. Please wait for a while until the issue is resolved. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

An issue with sending Pikmin to an expedition for a “Rare Decor Gift”.

Description: Even though the “Rare Decor Level” has increased, there is an issue where you cannot select the Pikmin to send on an expedition to get a  “Rare Decor Gift”.

Status: This issue has been fixed on 2024/09/26(JST).

The mushroom battle completion animation does not play, and the screen does not switch.

Description: After completing the Mushroom Battle, when you tap the expedition tab at the top of the Home screen map, the Mushroom Completion animation does not play and you get stuck on the screen and are unable to receive your reward.
As a temporary fix, you can turn off the location setting on your mobile device from the Settings screen, and you will be able to switch screens and receive your reward.

Status: This issue has been fixed on 2024/09/26(JST).

After selecting “Receive” or “Discard” the postcard, the Pikmin may remain in the garden.

Description:

After selecting whether to “Receive” or “Discard” the postcard, the Pikmin that brought it may remain in the garden and you may not be able to receive new expeditions. This occurs when you select "Receive" or "Discard" on the postcard acquisition screen before the image has finished loading and is displayed.

Status:

This issue has been fixed on 2024/07/18(JST).

The markings on seedlings of Decor Pikmin that have already been encountered were not displayed

Description:

We have an issue where, when selecting a seedling as a reward for an Premium Event Pass or a Special Mission Ticket, the icon signifying that a Decor Pikmin has already been encountered was not displayed correctly.

Status:
This issue has been fixed on 2024/08/06(JST).

Decor Pikmin with increased power to Bizarre mushrooms is incorrectly displayed.

Description:

In the Ice Cream 2024 Flavor Decor Pikmin event, there is an issue on Android where Decor Pikmin, whose work power increases for Bizarre mushrooms, are displayed as 'Playing Card'.

Status: This issue has been fixed on 2024/08/02(JST).

The entire Decor Pikmin Collection View is displayed as silhouettes.

Description:

Currently, there is a bug that causes all the Pikmin found in the Decor Pikmin Collection to be displayed as silhouettes, rather than as images.

Status: This issue has been resolved on 2024/7/25 16:34 (JST).

The postcard layout shown in the receipt screen is different from the saved postcard.

Description:

There is a bug that causes the layout displayed on the postcard receipt screen to differ from the correct postcard layout which is saved. The two points of difference are as follows

  • The pose and position of the Pikmin in the postcard (the Pikmin in the postcard are the same).
  • Stamp design

Status: Resolved by the update on 2024/7/11 (JST).
