Before Correction:
“When you slay large monsters within the event area, you may acquire event-exclusive Driftstones.”
After Correction:
When you slay Silver Rathalos or Gold Rathian within the event area, you may acquire the event-exclusive Driftstone “Mysterious Driftstone (Shibuya 2024)”.
Notice Regarding Known Issues (Updated 10/10)
The following issue has been confirmed. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Issue Title: Effects of Event-Exclusive Equipment (Weapons and Armor) May Not Function Properly During Hunts Using Paintballs or the Monster Tracker
Issue Details:The event-exclusive equipment, available during the Monster Hunter Now Carnival 2024 : Shibuya event, was announced to have performance adjustments based on the ★ (difficulty) of the monster being hunted. However, in the following cases, the performance does not change:
When joining a hunt through a QR scan for a monster marked with a Paintball or discovered via the Monster Tracker (*1).
Workaround:This issue can be avoided by hunting marked monsters in a party without using the QR code.
(*1) When recruiting hunters to join via "Hunt with nearby hunters using a QR code," the recruited hunters will experience changes in the performance of event-exclusive equipment, but hunters who join via QR scan will not.
This issue is expected to be resolved by the Monster Hunter Now Carnival 2024 : Global event.

Event Participation Guidelines:
To start the event, make sure you are within the designated event area (Shibuya area) and tap the quest start button. Please be sure to use the event start button displayed under the Special Quests tab. If you do not see any changes in large monster appearances, please restart the app.
Please note that if you start a hunt, Hunt-a-thon, or Elder Dragon Interception during the event hours and complete it after the event ends, the following bonuses will not apply:
Increased basic rewards for the Elder Dragon appearing for the first time in the event
Increased basic rewards for monsters appearing for the first time in the event
Acquisition of the event-exclusive Driftstone
Notes on Hunting Event-exclusive Monsters:
The "Join hunt!" notifications for event-exclusive monsters will only be sent to those who have purchased a ticket, started a quest within the event area, and during the scheduled time of the purchased ticket. Notifications will not be sent if you have not started a quest within the event area or if it is outside of your scheduled ticket time.
Important Information Regarding the Base Camps:
Congestion is expected around the Base Camps, and the network conditions may deteriorate depending on your service provider or the time of day. If you experience slow loading of the main screen after launching the game, we recommend moving away from the Base Camp. Please note that no items will be refunded if hunting cannot proceed normally due to poor network conditions. Thank you for your understanding.
