“Lower Urgent Quest Difficulty” allows you to lower the difficulty of the Season Story's Urgent Quests.
Notes
- This feature is available for 6★ and above monsters’ Urgent Quests.
- The difficulty of monsters currently unlocked in the field cannot be lowered by this feature.
- Once the difficulty is lowered, it cannot be reverted. Even after clearing the Season Story, the difficulty level of monsters in the field remains unchanged and will not go up by one.
Using “Lower Urgent Quest Difficulty”:
Tap on your Hunter Profile.
Tap "Settings."
Tap "Urgent Quest Difficulty Change"
Select "Lower Urgent Quest Difficulty."
Tap "Change Difficulty."
Tap "Confirm."

If you use the "Urgent Quest Difficulty Change" feature while 8★ difficulty monsters are unlocked, the monsters that appear in the field after clearing the Season Story will continue to be at 8★ rating.
Q: What happens to the difficulty of large monsters appearing in the next playthrough of Urgent Quests after using the Difficulty Change feature to clear the Season Story?
A: The difficulty will increase, but you can use the Difficulty Change feature again.
Q. I completed the Season Story without activating the Difficulty Change feature. What is the difficulty of the large monsters that appear in the field?
A. If you cleared the Season Story without using the Difficulty Change feature, the difficulty of the large monsters that appear in the field will be one rating higher.
If you clear the Season Story with 7* monsters already unlocked, 8* monsters will be unlocked. There is currently no function to lower the difficulty of unlocked monsters.
