To participate in a Wizarding Challenge, travel to Fortress locations on the Map. Fortresses contain a number of combat Chambers that vary in difficulty. When you join your first Wizarding Challenge, you can only enter the first Chamber. You will unlock new Chambers as you defeat the highest available Chamber level. Tap a Chamber to begin.
2. Choosing a Runestone
A Runestone is an item you exchange to enter a Chamber in a Wizarding Challenge. For each Chamber you enter, you must consume a Runestone. Each Runestone has a Family and a level (for example, Dark Arts Level 5).
The level determines both the strength of the Foes and the rewards you’ll earn if successful. For example, a level 4 Runestone will have more difficult opponents but greater rewards than a level 1 Runestone.
The Family determines your potential Registry reward. For example, you may collect a Hogwarts School collectible reward if you use a Hogwarts School Runestone. Note that you are not always guaranteed a Registry reward.
3. The Lobby
The first player that consumes a Runestone in the Chamber creates a lobby. The lobby is the area where players wait for other players to join before the Wizarding Challenge begins.
Players can join a lobby by entering the Chamber until the lobby timer runs out or 5 players join. If someone tries to join after the lobby timer runs out or the lobby is full, they will create a new lobby. Once the lobby timer runs out, the Wizarding Challenge begins.
You can bypass the countdown when everyone on your team joins by tapping the Start button. If you tapped Start, but you’re not actually ready to start the Challenge right away, tap the Cancel button to back out and allow the lobby timer to continue counting down.
Tip: If you’re soloing a Wizarding Challenge, tap the Start button to start the Challenge right away.
A difficulty rating will appear as you wait in the lobby. A larger number indicates a higher difficulty. The difficulty rating is determined by the number of players, the Chamber level, and the level of Runestones each player is using.
A summary of the Challenge rewards you can receive appears at the top of the lobby screen. Tap the three dots to get a detailed look at the rewards.

Registry Reward (not guaranteed)
Note: Registry Rewards correspond to the type of Runestone used and are not always guaranteed. However, you will always receive a Chamber Reward whenever you win a Wizarding Challenge.
Leaving a Chamber
If you leave a Chamber before the lobby timer runs out, your Runestone will be returned to your Vault. If you leave after the Wizarding Challenge has started, your Runestone will be consumed and will not return to your Vault.
